About Whitford Equestrian
The Whitford Equestrian ethos is “Kind methods creating lasting results”. The horse’s emotional and physical wellbeing is always prioritised and kind, compassionate methods are used for happy horse and human partnerships, focused on safety and success.
Maddy and her husband, Dave, work as a team starting horses under saddle, problem solving training issues and helping ‘difficult’ horses thrive.
Maddy is also passionate about supporting horse owners to gain skills, understanding and mindset shifts so they can progress, overcome obstacles, and form lasting bonds with their horses.
As a former high school teacher, Maddy has combined her two great passions, horses and education, to create a series of stand alone courses and a video subscription library to support people and horses from all disciplines and backgrounds worldwide.

Both the Groundwork Foundations and the Trailer Loading Success courses are stand alone courses. They are in-depth guides, with step by step instructions, troubleshooting and video explanations for these two specific areas of horse training. These courses are great for people who want specific problems solved and/or who want a detailed guide/support with these two topics.
The Library subscriptions include all the videos from the Groundwork Foundations and the Trailer Loading Success courses, however, there is no access to the instructional manual for the individual courses in the library.
Yes! We welcome all kinds of horses to our property for training and provide detailed and ongoing support for each owner so that they can fully enjoy and engage their horses. Please contact us for more details, availability and pricing.
